About CAGEMASTERS, The Custom Animal Cage or Enclosure
In the mid-eighties, I was the maintenance supervisor for McDonald’s restaurants of Palm Beach County. Out of the blue one day the franchise owner informed me he was going into the exotic bird business. He asked if I would consider leaving the restaurants and joining him in his new venture. I did.
Fast forward ten years later and we had grown into the largest breeding and research facility in the country with forty acres and over 4,000 rare species. Needless to say, after several years of learning all the do’s and don’ts of building and designing cages, I gained the knowledge and experience to be considered an expert in cages and aviaries. I eventually went out on my own in 1996 and opened Cagemasters. Still located in South Florida, we have grown to be one of the country’s premier providers of custom animal cages and enclosures.
I’ve been building cages now for almost 30 years and I can honestly say that the best part of what I do is watching the animals reactions as they explore their new roomier, pet friendlier environments for the first time. “It still gives me goose bumps”.
